EZB

GeoRef

is a database created by the American Geosciences Institute in 1966, providing access to the world’s geoscience literature. GeoRef is the most comprehensive database in the geosciences and continues to grow by around 100,000 references a year. The database contains more than 4.4 million references to geoscience journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports and theses.

ProQuest

SciELO Colombia

It is a database of journalistic information that covers the countries of Ibero-America. The database is produced by Corporación Universitaria Iberoamericana, a higher education institution based in Colombia.

Biblat

It is a bibliographic database specialized in the field of Law, Social Sciences and Humanities. It focuses on academic and scientific literature produced in Latin America and the Caribbean, although it also includes publications from other places as long as they are focused on the region, in disciplines such as law, sociology, political science, economics, anthropology and history, among others.

CLASS

It is a tool that provides detailed bibliographic information, including author, title, source, abstract and citation data, allowing users to identify and locate original sources of interest. However, CLASE does not offer direct access to the full text of the documents, since it is a tool that serves as a reference to locate and access relevant information sources in the field of social sciences and humanities in Latin America.

J-Gate

is an open access bibliographic database that provides access to a wide range of academic journals from around the world. The database was created in 2001 by Informatics India Limited, and currently has more than 49,000 indexed journals, representing coverage of more than 55 million articles.

METADEX

Also known as Metals Abstracts/Alloy Index is the leading online resource in the field of metallurgy, providing extensive coverage of international literature on the science and technology of metals and alloys.

SCIE

Created as the Science Citation Index (SCI) in 1964, it is a documentary database where many of the contributions (articles, editorials, letters, reviews, discussions, etc.) that can be published in science and technology journals are collected. indexed by Clarivate Analytics, previously produced by Thomson Reuters. This citation index is also known as ISI since initially the institution that produced the index was the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI).

Scopus

is a bibliographic and abstract database covering a wide range of academic disciplines. It is considered one of the largest databases of scientific, technical and medical literature currently available. Scopus is produced by Elsevier and contains millions of records of scientific journal articles, conferences, books and patents. For this reason, Scopus offers detailed information on articles published in scientific journals reviewed and refereed by academic peers, including abstracts, citations, bibliographic references and impact metrics. Additionally, Scopus provides search and analysis tools to help researchers discover and evaluate scientific literature, track citations, identify trends and collaborators, and evaluate research impact.

Zenodo

It is a general-purpose open access repository developed under the European OpenAIRE program and operated by CERN. It allows researchers to deposit research articles, data sets, research software, reports and any other research-related digital products. For each submission, a persistent digital object identifier (DOI) is minted, making stored items easily cited.
